Before jumping across the pond, Jen and I gathered a group of our friends...and dragged them out for a ride that would make up for all of those we'd miss while we were gone....turned out to be 2 hours longer than we had all planned, but not one complaint!
Then, since I was missing in action all day, my little bro Ry Guy, who has been out visiting this week...took me out for a little hike. He's been an angel all week, and thought it came thru in this pic. I'll miss having him out in CO!
Anyways, Jen & I are off to Europe tomorrow AM. We'll rendezvous with Dell in Paris, stay with my aunt, uncle & 2 younger cousins there, then trek up thru Belgium, race in Holland, cut thru Germany en route to Jen's family & BMC in Switzerland...then sneak off to Italy for a bit...and then focus on the World Cup 6/10!
I will be honest, Dell (the Aussie rock star) is coming into form (which means hurting us more and more each ride!), her eye is on the 08 Olympics...me, I'm headed over for the experience....and the cheese & chocolate! World Cup racing takes being a little fish in a big pond to a whole new level...but, I've always been one to say "sink or swim" & I've always stayed afloat so far!
Jen & I wanted to pass on one thing we know for sure....we'd not be floating if not for ALL OF YOU! Thanks for all of your help!
So stay tuned, we'll be updating this as often as we can!
Bonne nuit!
