Yes, I was cherry picking points. But that's okay, it was well worth the trip back to the midwest!
A huge thanks to the wonderful midwest crew: Jenna, Paul, Justin, Tom, Wank & Dave...who carted me around, worked on my bike, fed me and made me feel right at home! The race was at an absloutely beautiful little nordic center, Maplelag in Callaway, MN...about 1.5hours east of Fargo.
It's not too often you get to stay in cabins, eat wonderful meals in a family style mess hall and go cannoing and loon watching at a UCI race! Such a neat venue, I really hope people get word of it next year and make the trek up there.
